Maryam Mahmoudi / Long-term analysis of the Arabidopsis thaliana leaf microbiome in Germany
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 InternationalThis project investigates the phyllosphere of Arabidopsis thaliana, beginning with a field study to collect samples from natural ecosystems in Tübingen, Germany over 6 years. DNA extracted from the leaves, followed by two distinct assays. The first assay, amplicon sequencing, used to characterize the leaf microbiome of bacteria and eukaryotes. The second assay, whole-genome sequencing, analyze the host genetic material.
